Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Service Agreement

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Selene’s PawPals (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the undersigned client (“Client”).

By booking services with Selene’s PawPals, Client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Selene’s PawPals provides professional pet sitting, dog walking, and related pet care services as agreed upon at the time of booking. Services are limited to those specifically requested and confirmed.

• Payment is due according to the booking confirmation or invoice provided.
   
• All fees are non-refundable except as outlined in the cancellation policy below.
   
• No deductions, refunds, or credits will be issued for early returns, late arrivals, or shortened visits for any reason.
   

• 5 or more days before service: No cancellation fee
   
• Less than 72 hours before service: 25% cancellation fee applies
   
• Once services have begun: No refunds will be issued
   

Client must provide current emergency contact information and authorize at least one (1) alternate contact who is able to make decisions on Client’s behalf if Client cannot be reached.

Client authorizes Selene’s PawPals to act in the pet’s best interest in emergency situations.

Client is solely responsible for all veterinary bills, medical costs, transportation expenses, and related emergency care costs. Selene’s PawPals is not financially responsible for any emergency expenses incurred.

Client releases Selene’s PawPals from all liability related to:

• Transporting pet(s) to and from veterinary clinics, emergency facilities, or kennels
   
• Medical treatment, diagnosis, or procedures administered by licensed veterinary professionals
   
• Any associated costs, outcomes, or adverse reactions
   

Selene’s PawPals is not a veterinary practice.

a. Emergency Care Authorization
Client authorizes Selene’s PawPals to seek emergency veterinary care if deemed necessary.

b. Veterinarian Selection
If Client’s preferred veterinarian is unavailable, Selene’s PawPals may select an alternate licensed veterinarian.

c. Medical Decision Authority
If Client cannot be reached in a reasonable timeframe, Selene’s PawPals may approve treatment recommended by a licensed veterinarian, including emergency procedures or humane euthanasia if medically necessary.

d. Pre-Existing Conditions
Client warrants that all medical conditions, medications, and behavioral issues have been fully disclosed. Selene’s PawPals is not liable for complications arising from undisclosed conditions.

Selene’s PawPals is not liable for injuries caused by animals not under our direct control, including but not limited to stray animals, wildlife, or neighboring pets.

Selene’s PawPals assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, theft, vandalism, or criminal activity occurring at Client’s premises during the service period.

Client agrees to provide accurate access instructions.

Selene’s PawPals accepts no liability for any breach of security, damage, theft, or loss to Client’s property if any individual other than Selene’s PawPals or its authorized staff has access to the premises during the term of this Agreement.

All keys, access codes, and entry information are kept confidential and used solely for service purposes.

Client confirms that all pets are current on required vaccinations and free of contagious illnesses. Selene’s PawPals reserves the right to refuse service if a pet poses a health or safety risk.

Client agrees to disclose all known medical conditions, medications, behavioral issues, aggression history, or escape tendencies. Failure to disclose releases Selene’s PawPals from liability.

Services may be provided by Selene Solorzano or trained and authorized Selene’s PawPals staff members.

All staff are vetted, trained, and certified in pet care, safety, and emergency procedures.

All authorized staff are covered under Selene’s PawPals’ comprehensive liability insurance during service.

Selene’s PawPals reserves the right to assign staff based on availability and pet needs. Specific staff requests are not guaranteed.

Qualified substitute staff may be assigned without prior notice if necessary.

All staff adhere to Selene’s PawPals’ professional standards. Performance concerns should be reported immediately.

Staff may only perform services outlined in this Agreement and may not authorize veterinary care or property changes without management approval.

Client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Selene’s PawPals, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from services provided, except in cases of gross negligence.

By booking services, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of this Agreement.
